TTG Incontri is the most important b2b international trade fair in the tourism sector in Italy. It takes place every year at Rimini Fiera: it will be held for the 48th time in 2011. The three-day event is used to present the main new features of tourism operators to the market: 42.750 visitors were present in 2010 with more than one thousand direct exhibitors and a total of 2.400 companies represented from 100 countries.

 TTG Incontri was held for the first time in Milan in 1977. For more than 15 years the event took place twice a year in (spring-autumn) and also abroad ( Eastern Europe ). After changing location for a number of years, the workshop reached Riva del Garda in 1993 and stayed there for 9 years. In 2003 TTG Italia decided to move the event to the modern Rimini Fiera trade fair district, designed by Studio GMP in Hamburg and opened in 2001. The district is located in the north of the city of Rimini and covers a total area of 460,000 square metres. It consists of 16 large single-storey pavilions which are modern and functional and the complex has its own railway station on the Milan-Bari line. 

The new venue is in keeping with the essential characteristics for organising TTG Incontri/TTI to guarantee the success of the event: functional trade fair area, efficient services in the region, pleasant relaxing environment.

To stimulate in-depth analysis and outline future scenarios in the tourism industry with top-level meetings, TTG Italia launched the TTG Forums in 2003, top-level meetings with important national and international speakers.

TTG Italia, the company which organises TTG Incontri, is the Italian leader in communications and services in the tourism sector. It promotes meetings between supply and demand on different levels and in different environments and operates exclusively on a business-to-business basis, through supplying the market with publications, trade fairs, one-to-one contacts and new opportunities for growth and development.

The head office is in Turin, while the Events Department, which organises TTG Incontri and TTI, is based in Milan .

The 48th edition of TTG Incontri will be held on 6-7-8 October 2011 in the trade fair district at Via Emilia, 155 – 47900 Rimini.
