The Topics

TTG proposes a formula to overcome the crisis and leave this moment of uncertainty behind: openness to the outside to draw new stimuli and ideas (internationalism); reorganisation of the companies and implementation of social accountability policies for the enterprises (ethics); investment in professionalism and technology to be abreast of the times (tools); search for new economic resources and financings to breathe new life into the enterprises (resources).

INTERNATIONALISM: the major experts in the field will be discussing on how to push tourism businesses to draw new stimuli and ideas from the outside. Simon Anholt, Nation and City Branding world guru, will give life to two meeting occasions: a keynote on destination branding and a masterclass on 'brand Italy' in world rankings.
Some of the most important European groups will then exchange their experiences and will report to the Italian sector what strategies they are implementing to address the change.

ETHICS: a course starting from the heart of the enterprises. All major tourism professionals are always more often talking about social accountability and environmental sustainability. How does this concept apply to the world of travel? What concrete measures are being implemented by sector businesses? At TTG Incontri social accountability of enterprises and sustainability marketing will be recounted by experts in the field and by tour operators who have resolved to change. For the first time at TTG Incontri: Walter Giorgio Scott, one of the major marketing experts in Italy and editor of the Italian editions of Philip Kotler's works and Travelife, the international organisation teaming the main European tour operators associations, which will present case histories of operators who have planned and promoted 'sustainability' projects.

TOOLS: tourism at the time of social networks and mobile revolution. How and in what measure do businesses invest in the improvement of tools in order to be abreast of the times? A convention to get ready for the new changes in travel promotion and marketing. This convention will be integrated by TTG Labs, training occasions on specific topics (technology, marketing, communication, promotion of the territory, human resources) for all sector professionals.

RESOURCES: where to find new resources to breathe new life into businesses? A convention to investigate the relationship between banks and tourism.
