Uftaa extraordinary assembly at TTG Incontri

The international federation of travel agencies, gathering over 70,000 agencies worldwide, is facing a topical moment in its history and has chosen TTG Incontri to start the change. The whole board will be in Rimini to assess the present and the future of intermediation in the world and to change the rules  For the first time since its foundation, 40 years ago, Uftaa – the international federation representing over  70,000 travel agents  all over the world,  will be holding an extraordinary assembly in Italy.  

The topics that will be dealt with in Rimini are burning  issues for the world of distribution and their analysis will lead to a revision of the Federation Statute.    

Among the topics:

  • Zero commission travel agents
  • Liability in cases of  ‘force majeure’ (e.g. Icelandic Volcano)
  • The best service to the customer  (technology isn’t everything).

 Eighty presidents of national federations will be present in Rimini, representing a total of over 70 thousand travel agencies.
