Exhibitors represent the most important Italian and overseas companies of the different trade sectors: Destination and tourism boards with headquarters in Italy and abroad, tour operators, services, accommodation, technology and web and more generally, all those who wish to meet the protagonists in Italian distribution, to introduce new features and market their products: travel agents represent more than 70% of current trade visitors to the show. A very high percentage and a significant presence, considering the importance of the role held by Italian travel agencies: with over 6 million people managed and an annual turnover of 5 billion euros they represent the main distribution channel for travel. An estimated 90% of organised tourism in Italy is indeed handled by travel agencies.
TTG Incontri is further expanding, and has reached overseas: this year Discover America will take part in the exhibition with a whole pavilion dedicated to the American offer. Among this year’s new features is the participation of Frankfurt Tourist and congress Board and of Hamburg Tourismus, both for the first time at TTG Incontri. TTG Incontri – TTI also provides a rich conference and forum calendar in order to introduce highly topical issues to be debated also thanks to the presence of important international guest speakers. Among the speakers who participated in the previous editions: Simon Anholt, destination branding guru, who has recently been awarded with the Nobel Colloquia Prize for Economy; Tim Gunstone, Managing Director of Eyefortravel, a company specialising in business intelligence applied to the travel and tourism industry, organising international events on technology and the internet; Silvia Hendriks from Travelife, the international organisation helping operators create and promote sustainability projects; Walter Giorgio Scott, one of the main Italian experts in sustainable marketing and writer of the forewords to the Italian editions of Philip Kotler’s work.
TTI – the workshop for THE PURCHASE OF the Italian tourism product
Together with TTG Incontri, takes place TTI, the most important workshop for the promotion of Italian tourism throughout the world, this year doubling the number of international buyers, tour operators and travel agencies interested in purchasing and programming Italy. A not only quantitative but also qualitative increase, in order to involve new market segments, and therefore new buyers and new categories. The demand will be able to intercept a highly qualified supply, mainly embodied by Regions, Institutions and accommodation facilities and will be able to properly organise its participation in the fair, thanks to the tested Appointments’ system. All these elements sanction TTI as the only workshop where to buy and sell Italy.

A prestigious assignment which enables TTG Incontri to keep growing internationally and favours the encounter and exchange among the major actors of world tourism.
