The organising machine of TTG Incontri – TTI is already working full time; Italy’s only true business to business tourism fair will take place on October 22-24, 2010.
TTG Incontri is the major gateway to the Italian outbound market and the main point of reference in Italy for the distribution of tourism related products: travel agents, who represent more than 70% of current trade visitors to the show, are the privileged channel for travel sale in Italy, with over 6 million tourists handled each year.
This appointment will count on the participation of the most important actors in international tourism: last edition closed with over 35,000 people and marked a significant increase in international attendance with over 6,000 operators and a 37% growth compared to the previous year. Such figures reassert the international inclination of this event and its acknowledged role of only true gateway to the Italian market for tourism companies from all over the world.
Three days of pure business to introduce to the Italian market the new features of the catalogues in the most strategic period of the year, to establish new relations and deal with the main buyers and decision makers of the sector.
Coinciding with TTG Incontri, is TTI, the workshop for the promotion of the Italian tourism product: two days of businesses where the most qualified Italian tourism industry meet the international demand represented by more than 600 international buyers from 59 Countries, travel agencies and tour operators focused on Italy.
TTG Incontri-TTI is a high content trade fair as well, with a dense programme of forums and conferences, also including training programmes: “in 2009 we organized over 100 one hour training courses during the three days of the fair – explains Antonio Dell’Aquilano, Exhibition & Event Manager TTG Italia - , dedicated to all segments of travel professionals. We want to repeat the same successful experience in 2010. We believe that if companies have to invest their money and personnel time in participating at exhibitions, as well as the business opportunities made by the meetings at the fair, they have to come out with added professional value for their personnel too. “
TTG Incontri – TTI saw the participation of eminent speakers in the previous editions: among them, Simon Anholt, destination branding guru, who has recently been awarded with the Nobel Colloquia Prize for Economy; Tim Gunstone, Managing Director of Eyefortravel, a company specialising in business intelligence applied to the travel and tourism industry, organising international events on technology and the internet; Walter Giorgio Scott, one of the main Italian experts in sustainable marketing and writer of the forewords to the Italian editions of Philip Kotler’s work.
TTG Incontri – TTI is organised by TTG Italia, leading company in communication and services to the business tourism sector for almost four decades. The company also deals with the organisation of trade fairs for the conference and events industry: BTC, scheduled for July 1st and 2nd 2010, is the point of reference for the meetings industry and, starting this year, it will be changing its venue, being transferred to the modern Conference Centre in Rimini.
TTG Incontri is a member of Ittfa, whose newly elected president, Antonio Dell’Aquilano, is the Event Manager at TTG Italia.
